What Causes Red Bump On Thigh Close To Vagina And Anus?

Hi yesterday I noticed a red bump on my inner thigh close to my vagina and Anus. It is larger than a zit but smaller than a pea. It does not hurt at all and only itches when I touch it. After a shower i tried to pop it looks like barely anything came out. What could this be? Could it be from shaving ?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having folliculitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
