What Causes Red Bumps Found On The Body Areas Covered By Clothing?

I ve recently been getting these red spots/bumps on skin that is usually covered by my clothes. Skin that is exposed to the sun isn t affected. At first I thought it was just small pimples on my skin, since I have been just recently started exercising and sweating a lot, and I just haven t been washing properly, but a friend of mine saw them and said it looks like some type of food poisoning. Looking at a few things I have been eating recently, I have been eating things like sushi, and meat that is cooked to about medium-rare. There isn t any type of itching with them, they re just there. Should I be worried?

Hello,

Red bumps found in the body area covered with clothes may be due to poor hygiene. After workouts or exercises, you are sweating and your clothes get wet. Fungus grows very fast in moist and warm areas. You are suggested to take shower 30-40 minutes after exercises. Pat yourself dry and apply herbal based body lotion or calamine lotion. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes. Wash the clothes that were sweaty and moist in warm water.

Food poisoning also causes allergic rashes. Restrict any food that causes symptoms of allergy. Avoid raw or half cooked food. Do not take frozen & packaged food. Take home made fresh food, veggies and fruit. Stay well hydrated. For relief, you can take non sedating antihistamines, once daily for 3-5 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
