Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 20 year old female I have a one year old daughter and I have not had sex since I got pregnant. Last night I noticed tiny red bumps in my vaginal area they don t itch or hurt There is no odor or anything like that. Only reason I noticed them is because I saw tiny drops of blood when I was going to the bathroom. What could this be?
It can be local folliculitis or local infection and may need oral antibiotics as well as anti inflammatory medicine however local dermatologist review may be needed. Since it's painless herpes seems less likely.
Fungal may also present like this but typically present with severe itching, or vaginal discharge which isn't present in your case. Sometimes undergarments related contact dermatitis may present with this and should be considered as secondary diagnosis, however examination plays vital role in specifying the rash.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
