What Causes Red Bumps On The Face And Arm?

I am premenopausal and I have these round red bumps that are the size of a quarter 4 on my left arm and 2 on my face at first I thought they were bites but from something in our bed, but my husband doesn t have any of these at all can this be hormonal?

Hi,

Understanding your concern. As per your query, you have symptoms of red bumps on the face and arm which occurs mainly due to hormonal changes, poor immune system and could be an allergic reaction. Need not to worry. I would suggest you take an antibiotic like Azithromycin and wash face and arm areas with Neutrogena oil-free. Wash these areas with mild soap and cold water twice a day and apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day. If the condition doesn't improve in a month then consult a dermatologist for proper evaluation. The doctor may prescribe hydroquinone cream.
