My 19 yr. old daughter has some red circled spots that came up on her right arm, a week ago, they have grown to the size of a pea, and are flat, red circle with a crusty cover on them, just on the one arm and itch a lot. There are 6 of them. They start out small and grow.
Hello Thanks for the query. Probably she has developed a superficial fungal infection. It is called as tinea corporis. I treat such cases with a topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for a month. Take care of personal hygiene. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you.
