What Causes Red Color And Soreness In Area Between Vagina And Anus?

Hello I am a 27 year old female and just recently my the area between my vagina and anus has become red sore and inflamed. It is more near the anus then vagina. I have taken a east infection treatment as iI thought it was that but it has not helped. Any ideas what iit could be?

Hi

It is most probably a year infection requiring either one tablet of fluconazole 150 mg and/or a topical application of clotrimazole over the region twice a day for about 4 weeks.

Along with this, please also get an STD-panel conducted to rule out/confirm them.
