Hi.
I can understand your concern.
Incomplete data like age, any associated symptoms, any history of trauma or surgical procedure on genitourinary tract, etc not mentioned.
Suggestive of
hematospermia (prescence of blood in the semen).
It can be due to infection or inflammation of prostate gland, epididymis, seminal vesicles, urethra, and vas deferens, medical procedures such as
prostate biopsy, radiotherapy, urological procedures, and vasectomy. Injury to the testicles and penis can also cause this semen discoloration.
Other causes are a
pelvic fracture, rough sex, and masturbating vigorously. Benign prostatic enlargement, polyps, tumors, trauma to the blood vessels, liver disease or certain blood cancers can also cause hematopsermia.
Blood pressure lowering medications or
cholesterol medication are unlikely to be the cause of red colored semen.
I advise you to
consult a urologist for proper clinical examination and
some tests such as urinalysis, STD testing, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, and urological tests. These tests will help determine the exact cause of your red colored semen.
Hope I have answered your query.
