What Causes Red Discharge From The Eyes Of An Infant Indicate?
1 year old has discharge from eyes. Not pink eye. Around the eye it is reddish. The eyes are clear except for slight discharge. Not sure if this is a sign of allergy or something else. She is not fussy and is still eating and napping as usual. Please advise .

Consult neonatologist. Might have contacted from mother during birth process, consult eye doctor for eye checkup and advise on diagnosis and treatment. If diagnosis is correct there will be recovery of child. Redness of eye with discharge will decrease.
