What Causes Red Dots Around Clit After Shaving The Area?

So i shaved this morning and i noticed little red dots around the clit and that area. I wouldnt consider them sores or anything just red dots. I've never had unprotected sex so im just curious if they could just be razor burn or from not showering last night after i worked out just sweat irritation or something thanks.
