What Causes Red Flaky Rashes On Arms, Legs And Back?

hello, my name is heidi. i have had a red spotty flaky rash for 7 weeks now. one doctor said folicalitis. another said guttate psoriasis. i am worried it may be scabies. i had strep throat at Christmas. i noticed a few red bumps in the pubic area a day or 2 after i finished the antibiotic i was prescribed. i also was given steriods as i was weezing alot...the lungs sounded cluttered. the rash now covers most of my body. torso, back, arms, legs and only a few on the tops of my hands and tops of my feet. it seems like one big flaky hive in the genital area..but flaky spots cover the rest. i am very worried. i live with 2 people and no one else has had any spots or rashes... when a flake comes off, it appears as though there are tiny spots on the scab/flake itself. some actually bleed after showering. i dont itch much. very little actually , but i am now having psychological issues over this.i sometimes feel like my skins crawling. is it because of mites or my immagination. tough call there. also every tiny little dark spot i see on a flake if i remove it myself, i fear is a mite. there are long spotted lines on several parts of my body.. i fear they may be mites burrowing. i look at the flakes wondering if the specks onthe flake are eggs, mites?????? all pictures on web look very similar i have read up on both scabies and Guttate psoriasis. both have very similar symptoms. i really would love a diagnosis as i have not been out worried i may be contagious. i haven t seen my kids or grandson as i fear giving scabies to them. Im going on week 7 now and am still unsure. i do have a compromised immune system and have had other health issues recently with my neck, spine, gastritis, and some depression and anxiety. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you
