Hi! i have had sex recently with a friend & he had torn my perineum . right after sex i cleaned my vagina with a new soap ( i have exzema, never noticed it in my groin though ) the next day i shaved with a new shaving cream i also shave near my perineum, when shaving down there i shave upwards .. a few days later i noticed an itchy feeling in my groin, there are now small red bumps on my Perineum that itch when my clothes rub against it . I have very white discharge , but i think it s always been this color , it doesn t smell . i wanted to know what it could possibly be before paying for a doctors visit .
Hi dear thanks for writing to Healthcare Magic!! Perineal discharge is a sign of irritation and infection, please follow the advise: 1) Do not scratch and shave the area until it hills completely, it is the most important thing to remember 2) Apply ice when you feel itching 3) Use calamine lotion on affected area 4) Use corticosporin ointment for infection and inflammation 5) Wash it regularly with antiseptic savlon 6) If its bleeding or large tear consult gynaecologist once for clinical examination Hope this will help you Thanks and regards Dr.Sohil Takodara
