Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I believe I was bitten by bed bugs this past weekend. I have a small patch of red swollen bites. They itch and hurt not only in the immediate area (below my arm on my back) but in the surrounding area as well. Since the bites, I ve experienced nausea, feeling lightheaded and I ve lost my voice due with a throat that feels itchy (as opposed to sore). I m not sure if these symptoms could be related or are a coincidence. I should also tell you that I have a severe allergic reaction to stinging insects and was treated for years as a child to build up my tolerance to bees, yellow jackets, wasps, etc.
Hello I read your question and inderstand your concern I would like to ask that * is there any swelling anywhere in your body/face as well? *any faver? *any difiiculty in breathing ? In my opinion as you already having anaphylactic shock history, so go tou ER as early as possible to get Anti histamine injections and also injection Hydrocortisone 100 mcg IV And discuss this all to ER doctor As once again you are facing Anaphylactic reaction/shock And take rest of the treatment as advise to you by your doctor I hope my answer will satisfy you Good luck & tc
