i have red patches on my left arm. they have been there for about a month. they seem to right under the skin.they started itching in the beginning. they get worse at night. i was originally given steroids and they stopped itching and seem yo go away. what are they/

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the hypersensitivity reaction then it can be managed with antihistamine alone and best drug would be Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg three times in day, you have not mentioned the age and gender here, and hope this information helps.
