What Causes Red Itchy Rashes Throughout The Body While Treating UTI?

I have a slightly itching rash on my body, looking like red, round and raised bumps , they are asimmetrical, if it pops up on my hip it will also pop up on the other hip too. I have been having urinary tract infectionsthe the last couple of weeks. I was given Genfure, which didn t seem to help (7 day course I finished two days ago) I then took furaginum, which I have stopped taking now since the rash has appeared) In the mean time I got a little red scare on my genitals ( two days ago), it looks like cold sore. Can you please help me to figure out what is wrong with me? Thank you

Thanks for posting on GCM
UTI treatment can be very frustrating if resistance or recurrence.The best way to go about your infection since it has been going on for several weeks is to take a urinalysis and antibiotic sensitivity test.The molecules you have taken are however will indicated in the treatment of some UTIs.
The rashes you describe now could be caused by the following medical conditions:
-Drug effects
-Skin infection not related to your UTI
-STIs like syphilis or herpes.
-Allergy
I will suggest you see your Doctor again for reevaluation.You may try the following options while waiting on the results of the test
*Bath with antiseptic soap or solution like cyteal
*Take an anti-histamine like benadryl
*Take a steroidal anti-inflammatory like dexamethasone
