What Causes Red Line On The Tip Of Nose?

Just noticed our 6 month, has two light red, perfectly vertical and parallel apart on the tip of daughters nose. We started Banana fruit yesterday. The lines are apps 1/2 long and 1/4 apart. Maybe just a scratch or could this be an allergic reaction

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The red line on tip of nose seems in relation with bruise through scratch most likely due to unnoticed nail injury. Because the allergic reaction would not be confined to the tip of nose only even if it is sensitivity issue to banana fruit. Follow instructions as below:
- Keep the part clean with sterile water
- Local application of Polymycin cream 3 times a day
- Follow up online after 2 days about the progress of the bruise

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
