What Causes Red Lumps On The Face Of A Child?

my 7 year old staryed a few days ago with tiny red bumps on face that kinda look like pimples, thought maybe a heat rash then as days go by i started seeing more now its on his face , few on his neck and chest , my 4 ear old woke up yesterday with red pimple like bumps next to his ear like in one spot and a few spots outside of that, now its by both ears and its a few o face and on upper arms and looks like it trying to get on his back , could you possibly tell me what it could be? i thought it could be chicken pox but there not itchy or running a temp and act just fine

Hi,

Noted the history of both your children getting red rashes or lumps on face and so on with a gap off a few days.
I would think of the following reasons:
Chicken pox as you have well mentioned, has characteristic appearance and hence diagnosed on clinical grounds.
Some bed bugs or insect bites should also be considered.
I would advise to take an opinion of the Pediatrician or a Dermatologist to be sure and get treated as and if necessary, as will be advised by the Doctors.
Do not try anything at home unless there is fever or any other constitutional symptoms, which you can treat by OTC Paracetamol or so.
