What Causes Red Painful Abrasions On The Roof Of The Mouth?

I think I have a yeast infections in my mouth. I have this red, painful abrasions in the roof of my palette. The reason I think I have this is because today I ate a donut and my mouth tastes yeasty. Then later in the day I had a peace of candy and the same thing happened.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain painful abrasion on the roof of mouth can be due to a number of causes like bacterial infection, burning with hot foods and chemical substances like mouthwash, trauma with hard foods, acid reflux , fungal infection etc..
However fungal infection represents as white cheesy coating..
So my suggestion is to get a clinical examination done along with Oral swab culture..
Treatment will be advised as per cause..
As of now do numbing mouthwash , suck ice, take Vitamin B complex supplements, avoid hot and spicy foods..
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..

Hope this helps..
