What Causes Red Pimples To Appear On Stomach And Thigh?

Hi dr. Recently I spotted a red pimple on my son s belly. 2 weeks ago one one his thigh. Not itchy and he hasn t complained. The pimple has a red surrounding to it. Is this a sign of anything, what could the cause be? My son just turned 2 years old. Thanks

Perhaps it is just a boil. Nothing to worry, Try using a topical anti-bacterial ointment e.g either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin ointment.
