What Causes Red Rash On The Neck With History Of Eczema?

Hi I have suffered with eczema for over 20 years on and off. But have a red rash on my neck appear over the last couple says. I can feel it spreading across my neck and it stings almost like I m being beaten. Which is not like my eczema. Any idea what this rash could be?

Hi,

It should be evaluated by a dermatologist to rule out herpes zoster or shingles based on the details you shared and less likely to be eczema. Treatment would be accordingly so examination of rash is utmost important in this case as treatment of both are very much contradictory to each other.
