Hi My Kid is 28 days old. Three days back he had the red patches on his back, Chest and Underarms. We shown to Pediatrician and dermatologist. Both suggested to give 10ml clavam injection at morning and evening for 5 days. (10 injections). and we are waiting for the skin sample test results. Hi,

Since doctor prescribed it the benefits of using it are much greater than if you don't use it. I don't know the exact diagnosis of the infant to say if he really needed it. In case of such an infant the proper dosage is 30 mg per kg divided in two doses.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
