What Causes Red Rashes On The Buttocks?
my girlfriend has a red rash of her butt crack a little bit above the anus its has no bumps of any sort just a red irritation look she is worried that its a yeast infection but I ve seen pictures of that and I m not so convinced that it is do you have any idea what this could be?

The red rashes your girlfriend is having on her buttocks might be due to:
- allergy : to any new detergent she has used recently
- fungal infection: apply clotrimazole lotion locally
- intestinal parasites: examination of stool for ova/parasites advised
Get her checked by her physician to rule out the above-mentioned health problems.
Encourage her to keep a good local hygiene. Avoid anal sex until improvement.
You should get tested too.
