What Causes Red Rashes On The Hand,chest And Back?

doctor, i have red colored skin on the right side of body. i mean not everywhere ..my right hand, chest , back , right side of head , behind ears, right thigh .... and my right hands and fingers r kinda swelled type...but left side is normal it is by birth itself while pressing on reddish place it turns white. In a cold atmosphere this red color turns dark purple. and i feel like that part is frozen..and cant do anything with right hand with force at cold times.. what is the reason for that now am 19years old

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red rashes on the hand,chest and back which seems to be due to hair follicle infection by bacteria and as sebaceous glands are abundant there so clogging of skin pores by bacteria, debris and dead decaying substances.

Rashes can also occur due to contact dermatitis , psoriasis , sun burn and side effects of certain medicine or cosmetic . It is very important too find out exact cause .I would suggest you to maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry.

You should take diet rich in multivitamins and apply betnovate cream 2-3 times a day. Also apply cold compresses on rashes to reduce redness . You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it.

Avoid touching or pricking it. You should apply vitamin E Oil at night as well. Wear loose clothes. Take oral antibiotic course as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
