What Causes Red Rashes On The Hands While Suffering With Fever And Headache?

Hello, three days ago I woke up with a rather severe cough, nausea, and severe headache. I ran fever for most of that day as well as the two following days. I rested for that time. Today I decided to get back on my feet and be productive. My cough has remained, but the fever and nausea have subsided. However, I now have an unfamiliar red rash on the outside of both of my hands. I can t help but think it s somehow linked to this recent illness. What do you think?
