General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a viral infection. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest using a mild steroid lotion for local application such as Calamine lotion. I recommend to drink liquids and eat a healthy diet. If the symptoms continue, you should see a physician for a physical examination.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
