Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a red sore on the toe next to my big toe which is causing a lot of discomfort. I have out an antibiotic cream in it as well as several band aids to protect it but it is still bothering me after two weeks. The original sore probably developed from the heat and tight sneakers. What can I do to heal the sore. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
In laymen terms, a shoe bite is what has happened to you I am guessing. I would thus recommend nothing to be applied on the region and just letting it dry out and heal naturally. The more you apply creams over the sore region, the longer it may take to heal. Avoid wearing shoes or covering the affected region, and just keep it clean and dry at all times.
Best wishes.
