What Causes Red Sore Inside Vaginal Lip?

I have a small red sore on the inside of the too of the lips of my vagina. Im not sure if it s an std or an ingrown hair, because I plucked a hair out of the center of the spot, but it wasn t an actual bump like an ingrown hair normally is, it s a red sore like spot. Help!
