What Causes Red Sores On The Penis?

HI, I had STD may be 2 year back for which i consulted a doctor and he gave me a tablet treatment and there was not injection included. Now when i found red itching sores on penis area i did the vdrl test which indicated reactive 1/2 dillution 1:8 titre further i went for TPHA test for which result came weak positive. kindly help me out what possible solution is there for this.
