What Causes Red Spot In Vagina With Itching And Burning With Discharge?

i am 23 yr old female. I gave a sample on friday and i tested postive for a uti. i was given cipro. I am on my last day of the medication. I called my doctor today because i starting itching and burning with discharge. i have a red spot on the inside of my vagina that burns. could this just be a yeast infection or something else??
