What Causes Red Spots Like Scars On The Legs And Ankles?

I m wondering what these spots could be on my legs. They are red at first then turn dark like scars. I was tested for Lupus and the test was negative. The dermatologist called it a rash. It is not raised. The scars started at my ankles and are almost up to my knees.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having pigmented purpuric dermatosis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid standing for long periods of time as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a calcium dobisilate cream like Osil cream twice daily on spots.
3. Other treatment options are oral calcium dobisilate, multivitamins, topical steroid cream given only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
