What Causes Red Spots On My Tonsils And Throat Discomfort?

Hello, I looked in the mirror because I was feeling minor discomfort in my throat. I noticed that there was a red mark on my Ardenoid . Now, call me paranoid but I can also feel a bit of pressure/discomfort in chest, just underneath the chestplate. I m a natural worrier, but I ve managed to convince myself that I have cancer. Thank you in advance.

This could be Acute Tonsilitis. When tonsils are enlarged they cause pressure effects as well. So simple antibiotic therapy and general care will cure this. Secondly, it is not mandatory that pressure effect is always caused by cancer. You should absolutely not jump to this conclusion. Cancer has many other symptoms even those are not authentic till you get a confirmed biopsy report. For your satisfaction i would suggest you to visit hospital and meet ENT specialist for detailed examination and relevant investigations.
