What Causes Red Spots On The Feet And Legs Post Pacemaker Implantation?

my son is suffering from congestive heart failure and has just had a pacemaker/defiber put in two weeks ago and is recurring. Today he has noticed red spots on his feet and legs. They do not itch. He is on about eight different medicines. Do you have any idea what this could be? He has an appointment on Friday with his cardiologist.

There is no link between the red spots and pacemaker, it can be due to some infection and age related.
