What Causes Red Spots Under The Skin Of Arms And Hands While On BP Medication?
I get red spots and red tissue color under the skin on arms and hands. This is the past 6 months . My primary care dr. Says, well it s not cancer, could be bruising. I don t feel this happen they just appear. I am 73, taking blood pressure and cholesterol pills. I want to mitigate the symptom if possible . Is this doable?
It would be easier to answer this question if you could have mentioned the medication you're on.
Certain medication for the treatment of high blood pressure can lead to rashes and redness on the skin, especially drugs that belong to groups such as ACE inhibitors. This is generally not something to worry about if they are not causing any serious problems.
