What Causes Red Swollen Vein In Eye?
I have a large red vein running from the outer corner of my eye to the cornea. it's feels irritated and swollen. sudden onset about two hours ago, someone asked what happened to my eye. I am an infrequent soft contact lens wearer; wore my contacts yesterday. I've been at work since 8 this morning...concerned that I may need to go to ER.

at time prolong use of contact lens give rise to dry eye and further corneal erosion. your problem can be linked to that. remove contact lens use specs and apply refresh eye tear drop 3times daily. you will improve.
