Understanding your concern. As per your query you havered veiny throat with orange bumps, chesty cough, green phlegm which are symptoms of acute pharyngitis/ streptococcal infection leading to strep throat. There can be many reasons for this like allergies, dry air, and outdoor pollution, as well as illnesses like the common cold, flu, measles. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day. Do betadine gargles 2-3 times a day. Drink warm water with one spoon honey in it Take green teat twice a day. If condition doesn't improve in 1-2 days then consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Take antibacterial medications. Proper course of antibiotics for 3-5 days is must. For reduction of pain and inflammation you should take ibuprofen or calpol.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
