With this information, I can tell that in the presence of breastfeeding, alteration in the menses cycle is always predicted and one has to take extra care as a condom, Progestin only pills for contraception. If the breast feeding is not currently going on and baby is weaned off over a period of time, vaginal infection or pelvic inflammatory condition through some sort of bacteria must be ruled out with vaginal examination and a swab culture report of the cervix or vagina.
