What Causes Reddish Urine Post Colonoscopy And Polyp Removal?

Had Colonoscopy and Dr. removed 3 polyps. All was fine until 1 1/2 weeks later urine is reddish. No pain and no actual blood seen. I m drinking more water but urine is not turning clear. Is this normal or related to procedure in any way or do I need to see a neurologist.

Hello,

It might be due to minor injuries to the prostate. Other causes also be ruled out. Consult a urologist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
