What Causes Redness And Burning Sensation On The Face?

I have woken this morning and have a red burning face and I know the symptoms are pointing to a bout of hives, as I have suffered from this problem before. I have taken a fenofaxadine anti-histamine tablet which I always keep for such occasions and I have found some cream called fucidin cream 15% which is still in date. However, I cannot remember if this was prescribed for the last bout of hives I had in 2014. May I put a little sparingly on my face to alleviate the burning sensation and redness?

Hello dear,

I think you have second episode of urticaria, many times cause is not found , may be some thing new food you may have ate last evening,

Anyway best is to continue fexofenadine daily one tablet at least for 1 week, and there is no role of fusidic acid cream for this condition.
