What Causes Redness And Irritation On Penis After Protected Sex?

Hello,
I have redness and irritation on y penis after having protected sex over two weeks ago. I had STD testing and am clear of herpes I and ii, chlamydia, gonnohorea and aids. What is causing the redness and irritation. It is external and does not affect urethra.

The redness and irritation of the glans penis after having a protected sex that you have is mostly due to allergic reaction to chemicals used in condom as a lubricants,(Allergic Ballanitis).

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical steroidal cream for local application over glans penis .

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.
