What Causes Redness And Itching Sensation On The Upper Leg?
Good afternoon, I believe I was bit by something last Wednesday on the upper leg. It was itchy- I thought it was maybe an ingrown hair.... anyway, the area is very red and is spanning out on my leg (not just where the bite is). It is hot to the touch and almost feels like sunburn. Do you think I should try taking Benadryl or should I see a doctor? I am one of those types who really doesn t like going to the doctor! LOL!

As per your history, it may be dermatitis.
For that you can apply hydrocortisone ointment and take tab. loratidine.
Apply ice and avoid scratching. maintain proper hygiene.
