What Causes Redness And Pain In Left Testicle After Hernia Surgery?
My boyfriend just had hernia surgery, where his intestines would fall down into his testicle area? Well, now after surgery, he has noticed that his left testicle is red, contant sharp pain in one area. Weve recently noticed it is like he has two balls in this one testicle. We are afraid he might have a growth or something since this wasnt noticed before...

It is common to get swelling of the scrotum after hernia surgery due to inflammation of testicle that develops due to handling of testicles to dissect hernial sac from testicles and cord structures .
Normally it gets resolved over a period of 2-3 weeks .What one needs is to take antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs like Diclofenac twice daily and use scrotal support .
