What Causes Redness And Soreness At The Tip Of Nose?

Hi, the tip of my nose is red & sore for about a week. I take Lipitor, acyclovir, amitriptiline, toporol, lisinopril, mobic. It is tender to touch. At 1st I was washing my face & my nose felt itchy so when I rub the washcloth over the area the pain was sharp. No pimple has appear? What is going on?

Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having acute vestibulitis of your nose. May be the furuncle is in early stages, not fully erupted. Nose pain is because of this. It can be treated with penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 to 5 days. Steam inhalation daily twice may be helpful. hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
