What Causes Redness And Soreness In The Vagina With Itching?

Hi. Recently my vagina has been red, itchy, and sore. Not the inside, just outside and around. Yesterday I noticed small bumps on the left side of the lip, and also a small red bump on my clitoris which appears to look like a white headed pimple. I ve been using vaginal anti itch cream to relive the itch. What could any of this be? Should I be concerned?

Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I have gone through your query regarding itching and redness in vagina. You had also noticed small bumps on clitoris.

Clinical history of your illness favors VAGINITIS. It may be Allergic, Viral , bacterial and fungal. This may be confirmed by vaginal smear examination.

You have also noticed a bump on clitoris therefore one has to rule out sexually transmitted diseases also.

For all above you have to consult your Gynecologist.

Thanks for consulting HCM.
