What Causes Redness And Swelling In The Legs And Ankles?
i suffered a herniated disc in 2009 and underwent a failed discectomy. now i have 4 protruding and hernations. in the last year sometimes (maybe 1 every other month) have redness and swelling in my legs and ankles. in the last month my hip has started hurting when i lay on my right side. the last 2 weeks my knee has been hurting and feeling like it needs to pop and if i don t change positions with any of these when they start hurting my fingers and toes start to go numb on both sides. I am 47 ..5 ft. 3 and 160 pounds. i know i am over weight but have never had problems until i hurt my back.

The pain in hip and knee can be referred pain from a herniated disc.
