What Causes Redness And Swelling On Vagina While Taking Antibiotics For Sinus Infection?

Yes. Thank you. My foster baby who is 20 mid old just developed a rash or irritation red and swollen on top of vagina area. Puffy. She s on day 9 of antibiotic for sinus infection and we have been bathing her with baby wash in tub soaking for 3.5 weeks. This all began yesterday. Pharmacist told me to use lot ruin for yeast or fungus or diaper rash. But species not have it on her buttocks or legs or thighs. Only top part by lip area of vagina. Please help

I have gone through your query. Your baby's problem can be due to yeast infection. This can occur secondary to antibiotic therapy. Clotrimazole cream for local application will be helpful for this. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the genital area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Keep the area aerated. Giving probiotics is also good.
