What Causes Redness Around The Foreskin Along With Inflammation When Erect?

When I am erect, I have redness in the area of my foreskin. I talked to a doctor who said that this is normal and would go away with time but it has stayed red for about 3 months and can cause a light irritation or slight burning sensation. I had multiple STD tests and all come out negative so is there something I can put on this area that will not cause additional irritation and will not thin out my skin?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having yeast infection on glans penis or irritation due to collection of smegma not cleaning daily leading to redness and irritation.
Apply triple action cream on affected part for some time.
Keep local hygiene clean and healthy.
