What Causes Redness In Eye Along With Sensitivity To Light Post Cataract Surgery?

Hi, I had cateract surgey on both eyes done. The right eye was done first six weeks ago and I just finished with Tobradex drops for this eye on this past wed. This morning I woke up with my right eye sore and very sensitive to light. Its also pinkish red. I went to the hospital near here and the doctor told me to put something like (no more tears drops) in it and if it gets worst to come back in. I know that its hard to find help on the weekends but should I be worried and drive further to a city hospital? This eye since the surgery has always flickered at times and also the eye ball seemed to twich once in a while. But for the last five days it seemed to be doing good! Today its not so good...

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some infection in operated cataract eye and needs urgent attention to ophthalmologist.
This might create a problem in that eye.
Consult your operating doctor and start the treatment as soon as possible.
Meanwhile put antibiotic eye drops 2-3 hourly.
Ok and take care.
