What Causes Redness In Eye Of Child?

Hello my daughter is almost four we were on vacation and she was in the ocean and pool up until Saturday. It s Monday and her eyes are still a little red she says they feel ok and there is no discharge is this normal? This was her first time in either pool or ocean

Hi there.

It is possible she has conjunctivitis which could have been caused by the chlorine and other chemicals in the pool. I suggest you to give her dark sunglasses to wear. Avoid sunlight exposure. Give her plenty of water. Show her to an Ophthalmologist for property evaluation of the problem and appropriate treatment.
