What Causes Redness In Eye?
Hi, I noticed my husband had a red eye. He s had it for about 5 days now and It s swollen. At first we thought it was allergies because he was sneezing a lot the day before it came up. Then after his eye started turning red, its been getting more red every day. We then thought a broken blood vessel. It causes himpain to bend down, he says it feels like its going to explode, same when he coughs. It s his right eye and his right nostril is slightly stuffy, nothing big. Help please:) I m worried. It seems from the history that your huband is probably having redness of the eye because of subconjunctival hemorrhage.
No treatment is generally required in this condition as it resolves by 1-2 weeks.
However if there is pain, watering... you need to consult your eye doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
