What Causes Redness In The Eyes?

My eyes have always been very white with the center bright blue but 3 years ago for a couple months the whites of my eyes turned really red. I started using eye drops and 3 years later their not as red but they are always glossy and not that pure white anymore and they get red more often. I don t smoke, do drugs or use the computer that often. I get plenty of sleep, exercise and eat healthy. I saw a doctor once about it and he said that I burned the top layer of my eyes from the sun and wind and that they will never be white again. Is that all true? What do you recommend. I want my pretty eyes back! I m only 27.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having constant redness of the eyes.
Thus can be because of recurrent inflammations like allergic conjunctivitis, pterygium or pinguecula of conjunctiva....

Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
