What Causes Redness Of Skin On Chest?

I am 47, year old female, I weigh 275 and I am 5 9. I frequently notice a bright red area of skin on my chest straight below my throat. It looks like a sunburn and is sometimes very bright red, others times light pink. It almost is the shape of an upside down triangle.
